We are Kathleen and Timothy Ulihifun.Business name: Lexy Consult (GH). We started this specific business because we are both business owners and struggled a lot to keep proper records especially as the business was growing. We are accountants by education and experience and knew what we had to do but sometimes it was just a lot to deal with alongside other activities. Also, in our interactions with other business owners we realized they had the same challenges and this made us decide to do better with our records while also helping other businesses.
Our goal is to engage at least one thousand new and young businesses in Africa as a whole as well as being the go-to record keeping guides for new and young businesses in Africa.
We realized that business owners find record keeping tedious and boring hence they are unbothered about learning or getting a done-for-you service to keep their records. Most young CEOs want high value service for free not realizing that record keeping takes time, effort, and energy, so it cannot be free. Business owners also do not pay attention to or apply all free record keeping tips given via social media content.
Our ideal clients are startup businesses between 0-5 years old within the haircare, skincare, clothing or apparels, electrical and electronics, wigs, and accessories, caterers, bakers, farmers, e.t.c
Our main goal for the next year is to train at least 150 to 250 startups through our services.
