Hello! My name is Mary Akosua Sifaa Osei-Agyemang, founder and CEO of Nyameani Organics Integrated Adults Day Care. Our business is a unique blend of organic food production and compassionate adult day care services. We are located at Ashongma Estate, Ga East, Greater Accra. We grow, process, and deliver healthy, natural foods — especially millet-based meals like our popular Millet Kenkey — while also offering a warm, safe, and engaging environment for the elderly and vulnerable adults during the day.
Why did you start this business?
I started this business to solve two big problems at once:The need for safe, nutritious, and organic food that supports Wellness. The lack of proper daytime care and companionship for older adults when their families are at work. This idea was born from personal experiences and a passion for creating a better, more holistic approach to care and nutrition.
What is the most important thing to you in your business?
Dignity and wellbeing.Whether we’re feeding someone a healthy meal or caring for an elder during the day, we make sure they feel respected, safe, and valued. Everything we do is rooted in love and intention
What is your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenge is raising awareness and gaining consistent support. Many people still don’t know the value of organic food or the importance of structured adult day care — so outreach and education are key for us
Who is your ideal customer?
Health-conscious individuals and families looking for affordable, organic meals. Caregivers or families in need of a safe, respectful place for their elderly loved ones during the day. Community members who believe in supporting local, women-led initiatives
What is your main goal for the next year?
Our goal is to expand our reach — both in food distribution and day care services — by:Setting up a dedicated adult day care center with recreational and wellness activities , Scaling millet kenkey production and delivery to reach more homes and businesses, Hosting community education events on nutrition, aging, and wellness
